No experience is needed because after our two-three week comprehensive
training program at our New York location, you will be able to walk

The Company was started 25 years ago in
New York as a division of a hardware company, which was founded
in 1909. SUNGOLD was incorporated as a separate corporation in 1983
with the business focus as an abrasive importer. In 1995 the company
focus was changed from importing to manufacturing. During the past
six years our manufacturing capacity has increased 1000 fold, enabling
us to expand into numerous markets that were not accessible to us
in the past.
Building on our reputation for unique service,
we have grown from a small organization to a company of more than
45 employees operating the most up-to-date and state-of-the-art
machinery available.
We now manufacture a full line of sanding
belts from _" wide to 67" wide, over 300 varieties of
sanding discs, non-wovens, sponges, micron film, sanding stars and
related products. We have three U.S. manufacturing facilities and
have the capacity to make over 500,000 discs and 50,000 belts in
one shift.
Our potential for continued growth appears
unlimited. We are now expanding our presence in certain territories
with new marketing concepts creating opportunities in sales and
sales management careers.

SUNGOLD designs abrasive products with specific
attributes to accomplish every conceivable sanding job. In addition,
all SUNGOLD abrasives feature the most expensive resin/resin bond
specially formulated for our unique backing, to assure the durability
and integrity of the mineral grain, even when operating under the
high temperatures and pressures of the most demanding equipment.
SUNGOLD cloth belts are manufactured, under the most rigorous quality
control standards, over a unique 65% Polyester/35% Cotton backing
which optimizes the strength and shape retention of the material,
as well as joint integrity, while offering the most washable belt
in the industry.
SUNGOLD belts offer a wide variety of options
which include single, double and triple flex backings; Aluminum
Oxide, Aluminum Zirconium and Silicon Carbide minerals; Open and
Closed coat construction; Taped (butt) joint, skived or wave joints;
Precise "P" grading; 65/35 cloth, paper, fibre, screen
and non-woven backings; and a wide variety of sizes and shapes including
belts, sheets, rolls, discs and many specialized shapes. In addition,
belts and discs can be custom made in our in-house converting facility.

SUNGOLD is in the process of building a
world-class sales and manufacturing organization. We have invested
millions of dollars in the last six years in automation and expansion
of our manufacturing and shipping operation. The order processing
and shipping has been streamlined. We currently ship 97% of orders
for stock items within 24 hours.
Over the past three years the manufacturing
of special made-to-order items has been reduced from three weeks
to two weeks to one week by process and equipment improvements.
Our newest goal is to manufacture and ship custom-made items in
1-2 days! We expect to achieve this within the next six months.
During the past three years, we have established
relationships with material suppliers around the world to support
our increase in manufacturing. We have also embarked on a product
development program, to introduce new products that will give SUNGOLD
a competitive edge.
We are now starting to build a sales and
marketing organization to support the manufacturing capabilities
and the new product introductions. We envision a team of 100 salespeople
supported by ten regional technical support personnel and ten regional
sales managers, which will constitute ten teams. The salespeople
will work individually and as a team to market the SUNGOLD products.
Currently we are building the first of those ten teams.
