    Grit:  36
    Wood floor species:  White Oak
    Results:  Sungold sanded 32% more surface area.  
                    Rate of cut was the same for both products.
       

CASE STUDY # 2

    Competitors Product:  Norton Red Heat
    Machine:  Galaxy Sander Model #  Omega 8 
    Grit:  36
    Wood floor:  Existing red oak floor.  2-1/4" wide boards.
    Results:   Sungold sanded 29% more surface area. 
                     Sungold belts allowed the overlap to be reduced from 
                          2 boards to 1 board on a 2-1/4"board, requiring fewer
                           passes, accomplishing the job in 35% less time.
